Day 1 Hong Kong-Guangzhou
Your journey starts from Hong Kong. Today, we will take a short train journey to the southern gateway of China Guangzhou. Transfer and assistance will be provided from major hotels in Hong Kong. Upon arrival at Guangzhou, meet with your guide and enjoy the city tour to visit Chen Family Temple, Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Memorial Hall and a local market. Stay at the WHITE SWAN HOTEL by the bank of the Pearl River. (L, D)

Day 2 Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu, gateway to Tibet. Stay at the 5-star JINJIANG HOTEL. (B, L, D)

Day 3 Chengdu-Lhasa by air
An early-morning flight will take us to Lhasa, the highest city in the world. LHASA HOTEL (B,L,D)

Day 4-6 Lhasa
The unforgettable highlights include the magnificent Potala Palace, the Jokhang, Drepung and Sera monasteries, Barkhor Bazaar. A day trip to the famous Gandan Monastery, the first monastery of the Yellow Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, will also be arranged. (B, L)

Day 7 Chengdu-Kunming by air
Fly back to Chengdu and connect your flight to Kunming, the beautiful capital of Yun’nan Province. The high altitude and tropical latitude help to create “the City of Eternal Spring”. KING WORLD HOTEL (B, L, D)

Day 8 Kunming
Full day excursion to the legendary Stone Forest. (B, L)

Day 9 Kunming-Guilin by air
Morning visit the Western Hill and International Horticulture Exposition (before Oct. 31,1999). Afternoon fly to Guilin. ROYAL GARDEN HOTEL (B, L, D)

Day 10 Guilin
Today we take half-day cruise on the Li River. The breath-taking view along the banks has inspired the traditional Chinese painting for centuries. (B, L)

Day 11 Guilin-Hong Kong by air
Morning visit the Reed Flute Cave, Borcade Folded Hill etc.
Late afternoon flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, transfer to MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTEL overnight. (B,L)

Day 12 Hong Kong
Homeward flight or extended travel to other part of Asia.(B.)
